Get Your Resume Ready Quickly With JobSpice

I first have to say, that I love the name of this Web site — JobSpice.  I don’t know why, but I just love saying it!

I’ve been lucky enough to have a job that I love and I’ve had that job for more than 13 years.  But if you are out there and you need to create a resume on the fly, JobSpice might deliver.

The Web site is very user-friendly, I think even my least tech-savvy relatives could use it with little instruction.  You can go to the site and create your resume in less than 30 minutes.  You don’t have to sign up for anything if you just want to save a copy of the resume to your computer.  If you want to keep a copy on JobSpice, creating an account only requires you select a username and password — no email to enter.  Then you can create a custom link that will provide people with access to your online resume.

  1. please publish your feed interesting about it.

  2. Thanks for sharing this information. From what you state, it seems to be a very generic kind of help to prepare a quick resume and have a place to keep it on. the fact that the registration is optional and so simple prompts me to give it a broader LOOK IN. Nice post.

  3. Interesting, and helpful.

I get a lot of resumes where I work, and I throw out 95% of them straight away. Many of them have really weird things written that you just wouldn’t put on a resume, and the rest are mostly just really… bad, for all these reasons and more.

I was taught to not put references on a resume, instead to write, “Available upon request” which I think sounds reasonable – if someone is going to be contacted on your behalf, I think it fair to forewarn them that somebody is going to be calling them.
